He worked as a chief designer and was in charge of more than 100 projects in domestic and international, large-scale urban redevelopment office & retail, airport, concert hall, museum, hotel, residence and so on. He has experienced knowledge and techniques based on architectural lighting design. Especially, he became convinced that light affects human mind strongly throughout the projects such as a hospital and a funeral hall where human feels tense and nervous.

『Light Up Our Lives』－光はわたしたちを明るく、楽しく、生き生きとさせてくれるもの－ を信念に、人の心に寄り添う光のデザイン提案をしている。人と光の関係を見つめ、アイデアの根幹にしている。主観的な光の印象や感情だけに捉われない、光の心理的・生理的影響についての科学的な実証を得るため、東京理科大学建築光環境研究室と共同で研究を進めている。

Established LIGHTDESIGN INC.
The philosophy is “Light Up Our Lives”, which would help us brighten our lives look forward to a great tomorrow. He proposes a lighting designed by humanistic approach that would be considerate of human feelings. He seeks out the relationship between human and light, and use its knowledge as the basis for lighting creation. He has been advancing research in collaboration with Tokyo University of Science in order to obtain scientific evidence of the psychological and physiological effects of light, which is not limited to subjective impressions and feelings.
